September 2021: GoFundMe Project – Help finish the restoration of the 1886 Coupeville Cash Store

From owners Barbara and Von Summers:

“We have poured our hearts and financial resources into getting this far but find ourselves needing help to complete the project. 100% of all donations will go to completion of the building.  Donors will receive a discount on a future stay at Salty Vons Waterfront Inn and an invitation to the ribbon cutting celebration when the building is complete.  Please visit to see current pictures and a summary of the renovation.

June 2021 Whale Wheel RepairCoupeville’s iconic hand carved Whale Wheel’s 25 year old beach logs are mysteriously sinking and leaning. A new support has been engineered. Materials and on site archeologist hopefully will not exceed a $2000 dollar estimated budget! Safely give a contribution to this fund through our paypal acct. ALL funds go directly to the Whale Wheel’s engineered repair.
