The volunteer hours are well suited for everyone. Shifts range from 2 to 5 hours – Saturday and Sunday the first weekend of March each year.
What does a MusselFest volunteer do? The list is varied. You may be selling tickets or tokens, setting up fest areas, assisting shell fish farm boat tours, assist in beer garden, giving directions and assistance to fest goers, delivering warm beverages to fellow volunteers staffing road closures, and more.
Aside from vendors (tents, foods, non-profits) the MusselFest is powered by volunteers. Many friendships have been made over the years and good memories keep volunteers coming back year after year. As the fest has grown, giving a great economic and tasty boost to our island winter, we welcome new volunteers.
