The ballots are in and the Captain Whidbey Inn is the official winner of the 2013 Mussel Chowder contest !
Ballots were taken by armed guard to the offices of the Coupeville Historic Waterfront Association and held under lock and key until they were carefully counted this morning. Now it’s official !
YOUR CHOWDER IS OFFICIALLY THE BEST OF THE
2013 MUSSEL FEST!
2nd and 3rd place came in with just 2% less votes – making it a tight race and proof each and every restaurant and food establishment in Coupeville cooked their hearts out to create a yummy mussel chowder this year.
2014 – is up for grabs – as of TODAY!

We added 500 chowder ballots this year and still sold out! We posted, on our site that the tickets sell out quick. They will again next year so make sure you get into town and purchase your tickets before 1pm. The Chowder Shuttle begins at 11am every year.
